Demetreus Kostis won his fifth straight state championship in the NC USA Junior High and Elementary State Wrestling Championships.

Kostis won the 5th and 6th-grade championship at 96 pounds. At the 78-pound level, Mark Townsend finished in third place.

At the 7th grade level, Dylan Ashley won the heavyweight division.
