Sheriff’s reports:

Jan. 15
A resident reported a suspicious person around the summer homes on Pigeon Roost Road in Banner Elk.
Assault and battery were reported as a result of a fight between roommates on the 500 block of Parkway Forest Drive in Boone.

Lisa Marie Harding, 29, of Chesapeake, Va., no specific address listed, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of harassing phone calls. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a written promise bond.

William Greene Wilson, 47, of 103 Cook Road in Zionville, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $14,000 secured bond.


Nancy Jean Cassidy, 57, of 516 Parkway Forest Drive, Boone, was charged with resisting public officer, assault on a government official and assault and battery. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21.


Jan. 16
William Lonnie Wilson, 46, of 2129 Brown Chapel Road in Boone, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Mar. 27 in lieu of a $10,000 secured bond.

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on the 3200 block of Kellersville Road in Banner Elk. A person broke a basement door and removed several items with a total estimated value of $2,600.


Larceny of power was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Hensels Lane in Boone. A person cut the seal on a power meter in order to access electricity. The total amount was 1359 kilowatt hours, or $113.34.


Jonathan Keith Brown, 27, of 5015 U.S. 421 North Apt. 7, Vilas, was served with an order for arrest on charges of larceny and possession of stolen goods or property. The charges stem from a Burke County incident. Brown was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in Burke County district court on Mar. 31 in lieu of a $4,000 secured bond.


Jan. 17
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported at a residence on the 400 block of Deck Hill Road in Boone. A daughter took her mother’s vehicle without permission while the mother was out of town.

Jan. 18
Jerry David Tester, 39, of 186 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of misdemeanor larceny and also charged with driving while license revoked. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Dana Joseph Flannery II, 21, of 411 Laurel Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was served with a warrant for arrest on charge of misdemeanor larceny. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Richard Ray Roach, 55, of 117 Seven Oaks, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of misdemeanor larceny. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

Eliza Dane Wright, 26, of 1221 Rockcliff Road Apt. 22-A, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of assault and battery, harassing phone calls, communicating threats, and misdemeanor stalking. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a written promise bond.

Damage to property was reported at a residence on the 3500 block of Old U.S. 421 North in Vilas. The victim reported a person breaking several items in their home.

Damage to property was reported on the 400 block of Old N.C. 421 South. The passenger side windows and windshield were busted on the victim’s vehicle.


Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a business on the 200 block of Cabbage Row Lane in Boone. A $300 condenser coil was reported stolen.

Assault was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Knowles Haven Lane in Boone. The victim reported being struck in the face and head with a wooden log.


Jan. 19
Christy Anne Grayson, 37, of 3453 U.S. 321 South, Blowing Rock, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of second degree trespassing. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of $500 secured bond.

Communicating threats was reported by a resident on the 9100 block of N.C. 194 North in Todd. The victim reported threatening messages posted to a MySpace Internet page.

Motor vehicle theft was reported at by a business on the 2800 block of Old U.S. 421 South in Boone. A person took a Jeep Cherokee, valued at $6,500, off the lot without permission.

Larceny was reported at a business on the 200 block of Cabbage Run Road in Boone. Eight car radiators, four Therma-can condensers, one aluminum fuel tank, four to six aluminum wheels for a tractor trailer, and 14-16 radiator cores were reported stolen.

Jan. 20
Jaime Macias Rodriguez, 26, of 117 Martin Lane Apt. B, Boone, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date on a charge of driving while impaired. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $750 secured bond.

Bobby George Winkler, 40, of 130 Larry Winkler Road, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of larceny of a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Mar. 18 in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond.


Gerry Sedillo, 32, of 139 Laurel Reach Lane, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of harassing phone calls, second degree trespassing and communicating threats. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a written promise bond.

Larceny was reported by a resident on the 100 block of The Glade Road in Boone. The victim reported a $300 cell phone stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Appalachian Ski Mountain. Graffiti was reported on several surfaces.

Bo Donavon Cline, 26, of 470 West King Street Apt. 1, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on two charges of possession of a controlled substance on jail premises and one charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Feb. 21 in lieu of a $20,000 secured bond.


Jan. 21
Cody Michael Schuman, 17, of 3210 Kellersville Road, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of breaking and entering and misdemeanor larceny. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court in lieu of a secured $1,000 bond.


Larceny was reported at the skate park in Boone. The victim left a backpack and it was gone upon his return.
The bag contained digital camera equipment and skateboard tools, with a total value of $2,170.

Larceny was reported at a business on N.C. 194 in Valle Crucis. The victim reported a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.


Larceny of motor fuel was reported at a business on the 8900 block of N.C. 105 South in Foscoe. The amount of fuel was $8.75.

Bobby George Winkler, 40, of 130 Larry Winkler Road, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of reckless driving, open container of alcohol after consuming, and felony habitual impaired driving.

He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Mar. 18 in lieu of a secured $12,000 bond.


A harassing phone call was reported by a resident on the 1600 block of Friendship Church Road in Boone.
The victim reported a phone call late at night with the caller making obscene statements.

A domestic incident was reported at a residence on the 1300 block of Brown Wood Road in Deep Gap.

Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny were reported at a parking lot off Angelia Court in Boone. A person entered an unlocked vehicle and removed two tennis rackets, a cell phone charger and a GPS system.

Larceny was reported at a residence on the 400 block of Diamond Ranch Road in Boone. A license plate was removed from a vehicle in the driveway.
