Meth lab found

in Sugar Grove

Officers of the Watauga County Sheriff's Office’s Special Operations Division have arrested one man in connection to a methamphetamine laboratory found Friday.


Detectives secured the meth lab located at 206 Bryant Combs Road in Sugar Grove and gathered information leading to Matthew Wayne Rayfield, 23.

Rayfield is currently in custody on charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a dwelling of controlled substance and possession of a firearm. Bond was set at $100,000.
