Dec. 28
Fraud via a credit card was reported at 11:24 a.m. on the 100 block of Maple Drive.
Arrests: Daniel Labdon, 20, of 117 Territory Lane, Burnsville, was arrested at 10:22 a.m. and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. Kevin Greene, 20, of Kalmia Lane, Boone, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. and charged with a traffic violation, a provisional license violation and driving while impaired.
Dec. 29
Larceny was reported at 7:46 a.m. on the 100 block of Summer Drive.
Criminal damage to property, in the form of graffiti,was reported at 7:52 a.m. the 300 block of East King Street.
Dec. 30
Arrests: William Joines, 23, of 2130 Herron Road, Burlington, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. and charged with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a concealed weapon, two traffic violations and driving while impaired.
Dec. 31
Criminal damage to property, in the form of vandalism, was reported at 11:28 a.m. on the 400 block of Yosef Drive.
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported at 4:20 p.m. at a business on the 2200 block of N.C. 105. A Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen.
The use of counterfeit currency was reported at 9:15 p.m. at business on the 1900 block of Blowing Rock Road.
Arrests: Nicholas Hathaway, 20, of 397 Forest Hill Drive, Boone was arrested at 6:50 p.m. as a fugitive from justice.
Jan. 2
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 11:21 a.m. on the 100 block of South Depot Street. The facing of a CD player was reported stolen.
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported at 11:27 a.m. from the 2200 block of Blowing Rock Road. A Jeep Wagoneer was reported stolen.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported was reported at 1:16 p.m. on the 1100 block of Blowing Rock Road. A blue Nano iPod player was reported stolen.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 6:59 p.m. on the 700 block of Blowing Rock Road. A purse contained multiple credit cards and debit cards, a checkbook, drivers license and social security card, as well as, a digital camera and cell phone were reported stolen.
