Arrest made in

connection to

November auto theft

An arrest has been made in connection to the Nov. 9 theft of a 2003 Chevrolet truck.

The vehicle was reported stolen from 124 Realty Row.

Investigators with the Boone Police Department identified Daniel Scott Labdon, 20, of Burnsville as a suspect in the theft.

Labdon was arrested Friday in Yancy County and transported to Boone. He was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and placed under a $5,000 secured bond.

Labdon is scheduled to appear in district court on Jan. 22.

Investigators expect an additional arrest in connection to this case.
