Boone Police reports

Dec. 14
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 9:25 a.m. from a parking lot on the 100 block of West King Street.

Arrests: Teresa Storie, 50, of 2337 Old Highway 421 South, Boone, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. and charged with driving while impaired.

James Vawter, 49, of 333 Reagan Road, Trade, Tenn., was arrested at 2:35 p.m. and charged with borrowing a license plate, driving while license revoked and driving while impaired.

Dec. 15
Assault with a deadly weapon and criminal damage to property was reported at 1:32 a.m. at an apartment on the 1400 block of West King Street.

Damage to real property was reported at 7:51 a.m. at a business on the 100 block of New River Heights Drive.

Embezzlement via paper was reported at 1:59 p.m. at a business on the 100 block of Doctors Drive.

Larceny was reported at a business on the 500 block of West King Street.

Arrests:
Ashley Marder, 22, of 159 Oak Grove Road, Boone, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. and charged with driving while impaired.

Grant Crider, 24, of 159 Oak Grove Road, Boone, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. and charged with criminal damage to property and assault with a deadly weapon.

William Snyder, 59, of 167 Perry Street, Boone, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. and charged with a hit and run, driving while license revoked, and driving while impaired.

Steven Powers, 54, of 417 Blowing Rock Road Apt. 3, Boone, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. and charged with simple physical assault.

Dec. 16
Arrests: Jeffrey Morrison, 23, of 28 Plantation Drive, Southern Pines, was arrested at 1:24 p.m. and charged with failure to appear at a scheduled court date to face a charge of possession of liquor on unauthorized premises.
