Nov. 26
Larceny was reported at a residence on U.S. 421 North in Vilas. A roll-top trunk was taken from outside the residence and a radio/CD player was taken from a vehicle.
Harassing phone calls were reported by a resident of Seasons Drive in Zionville. The suspect continues to call the victim after being told to stop.
Harassing phone calls, stalking and communicating threats were reported by a resident of Roaring Fork Road in Todd.
Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny were reported at the parking lot of Kensington Meadows. Several electronic items were reported stolen, with an approximate total value of $1,695.
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on N.C. 194 North in Boone. Approximately $250 worth of items were reported stolen.
Nov. 27
Larceny and a domestic incident were reported at a residence on U.S. 321 South in Boone. A suspect took the victim’s cash from their wallet and car keys.
Nov. 28
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Pine Branch Road in Boone. The rear door window was broken to gain entry and a coffee can of loose coin was reported stolen.
Communicating threats was reported by a resident of Holman Road in Todd. The victim reported having been threatened through a third party by an inmate.
False pretenses were reported by a resident of Caribou Drive in Sherrills Ford. A suspect failed to complete a job after advance money was paid.
Forcible entry burglary and damage to property were reported at a residence on Archway Drive in Vilas. A suspect forced open the basement door of the home, causing damage.
Dalton Kenneth Shields, 19, of 1314 Eagle Ridge Road, Vilas, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date on charges of operating a vehicle without insurance and a registration violation. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Jan. 22 in lieu of a secured $500 bond.
Jose Luis Itheua Quiahua, 22, of 5310 Indiana Ave., Winston-Salem, was arrested on view on charges of driving left of center and driving without a license. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Jan. 3 in lieu of a secured $500 bond.
Carlos Basilio Yax Menchu, 20, of 222 Watson Road, Deep Gap, was arrested on view on charges of driving without a license and failure to register. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Jan. 3 in lieu of a secured $500 bond.
Brock Matthew Hill, 24, of 492 West King St. Apt. 5, Boone, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date in Mecklenburg County on a charge of larceny. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 10 in lieu of a secured $2,000 bond.
Nathan Williamson Sparrow, 25, of 2511 Berkley Place, Greensboro, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date in Watauga County. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 21 in lieu of a secured $300 bond.
