Nov. 21
Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny were reported at Valle Crucis Park. A suspect took the victim's purse from the vehicle.
Sexual harassment was reported at a business on U.S. 105 South in Boone. A suspect directed sexual comments toward the victim.
Damage to property was reported at undeveloped property on Shulls Mill Road in Boone. The suspect pulled up surveyed, lot boundary stakes and other lot signs.
Fraud and larceny were reported by a resident of Arnett Hollow Road in Vilas. The suspect removed a check from the mail box and cashed it.
Nov. 22
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Worley Road in Banner Elk. The suspect entering the home through an unlocked door and removed two instruments, sound equipment and a safe.
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Mount Zion Lane in Deep Gap. A suspect entered the residence with force and removed several items including jewelry and guns.
Larceny was reported at a business on U.S. 421 North in Vilas. The suspect dispensed fuel and left without paying for it in the amount of $20.
Nov. 23
Jesse James Parker, 25, of 2520 Rominger Road, Banner Elk, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date to face a charge of resisting public officer. He was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court in lieu of a $600 cash bond.
Shots fired were investigated by officers at a residence on Corbett McNeil Road in Boone. The victim’s dog was shot in the head by a small caliber bullet or pellet.
Douglas Vaughn Moore, 51, of 199 Ashely Woods, Boone, was served with a criminal summons and a warrant for arrest on charges of worthless checks and obtaining property by false pretenses. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 21 in lieu of an unsecured $2,000 bond.
Nov. 24
Breaking and entering and damage to property were reported at a residence on Howards Creek Road in Boone. A suspect damaged the front and back doors of the residence to gain entry.
Kamile Cassandra Brown, 18, of 478 Deck Hill Road, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of harassing phone calls. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Jan. 22 in lieu of a written promise bond.
Joseph Primo Nardi, 49, of 4604 U.S. 312 North, Sugar Grove, was served with a criminal summons on a charge of harassing phone calls. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 6.
Vonley Elester Watson, 39, of 2522 Rominger Road, Banner Elk, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date on a charge of failure to pay child support. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 20 in lieu of a $15,076.77 cash bond.
Nov. 25
Trevor Lee Thompson, 20, of 5533 Lawyers Road, East Wingate, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of assault on a female and two counts of simple assault. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 6 in lieu of an unsecured $2,000 bond.
Damage to property was reported at a residence on Trillium Ridge Drive in Boone. The victim reported the rear window of a vehicle had been broken.
Aaron Wallace Geer, 24, of 198 Short St., Boone, was arrested on view on charges of driving while impaired, careless and reckless driving, speeding 95 mph in a 45 mph zone, and speeding to elude arrest. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court in lieu of a secured $1,500 bond.
Danielle Louise Jesserer, 23, of 224 A Charles St., Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of harassing phone calls. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 21.
Jeremy Daniel Russom, 24, of 115 Hideaway Lane, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of two counts of communicating threats and five counts of injury to personal property. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 6 in lieu of a secured $2,000 bond.
James Kevin Harmeyer, 41, of 155 Longvue Drive, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of injury to personal property. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 21 in lieu of a written promise bond.
