Boone Police make arrest following New Market vehicle break-in
An arrest has been made in connection to the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, which occurred at New Market Center on Oct. 29.

Brandon Lee Bowles, 23, of Boone was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and charged with one count of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and one count of larceny from a motor vehicle.
Bowles is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 21 in lieu of $2,500 bond.
According to the N.C. Department of Corrections, since 2004, he has been charged and convicted of nine counts of identity fraud, 11 breaking and entering of motor vehicle charges, two burglary charges, one count of forgery and two larceny charges. Bowles served probation for these charges and has not served any jail time, according to corrections sources.
