District Court judge Kyle D. Austin presiding and Charlene Norris prosecuting on behalf of the state.

An order for arrest was issued for Charles Joshua Black, 20, of 7882 Mountain Shore Drive, Sherills Ford, for failure to appear on a charge of possession of alcohol while underage.

Michael Patrick Blazer, 48, address unknown, admitted a misdemeanor probation violation committed out of county. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 37 days served.

An order for arrest was issued for Megan Leigh Boles, 20, of 1747 First St. NE, Hickory, for failure to appear on a charge of possession of alcohol while underage.


Chelsey Leigh Butler, 20, of 362 Burkett Road, Boone, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A second charge of driving while license revoked was dismissed.

Heather Rene Chandler, 27, of 94 White Oak Road, Bakersville, pleaded guilty to permitting the operation of a vehicle without insurance. She was fined $25 and assessed court costs.


A charge of operating a vehicle without insurance was dismissed against Cassandra E. Clark, 20, of 321 Madison Ave., Boone.


Kristopher Dickenson, 34, of 4013 Payne Road, High Point, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A charge of speeding was dismissed.


An order for arrest was issued for Andrew Benjamin Dobson, 19, of 142 Keenan Drive, Mooresville, for failure to appear on a charge of possession of alcohol while underage.


An order for arrest was issued for Hank Eaton, no age listed, of the High County Inn, Boone, for failure to appear on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. A secured $1,000 bond was set.

Charges of driving with no operator’s license, two registration violations and a license place violation were dismissed against Sandy Brown Eller, 35, of 7647 Boone Trail, Purlear.


An order for arrest was issued for Christopher J. Elliot, 41, of 217 Hantley Place, Charlotte, for failure to appear on a charge of fishing without a license.

William G. Haddock, 54, of 200 Triumph Lane Apt. 303, Boone, pleaded guilty to communicating threats. He was sentenced to 67 days in jail with credit for time served.

Charges of communicating threats and two counts of assault on a female were dismissed against John Dewey Jarvis, 77, of 125 Roby Greene Road, Boone, due to successful mediation.


A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed against Kiel Rutledge Jinkens, 23, of 109 Chillingham Road, Garner.

William Heath Johnson, 39, of 152 Shadywood Lane, Statesville, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.
He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, one year unsupervised probation and 24 hours of community service. A charge of open container after consuming alcohol was dismissed.

A charge of driving while license revoked was dismissed against Victoria Faye Lipford, 24, of 22911 N.C. 88, Zionville.


An order for arrest was issued for Daniel Robert Nathan, 22, of 1171 Bamboo Road Apt. 2, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of reckless driving with wanton disregard.

Barry Nicodemus, 48, of address unknown, Pa., pleaded guilty to second degree trespassing. He was sentenced to 13 days in jail with credit for time served.

An order for arrest was issued for Daniel Steven Owens, 23, of 6110 Bushnell Drive, Forth Worth, Texas, for failure to appear on charges of possession drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana up to one half ounce.

An order for arrest was issued for Matthew Lee Sellers, 18, of 324 Gragmont Road, Black Mountain, for failure to appear on two charges of sell/distribute tobacco products to a minor.

A charge of operating a vehicle without insurance was dismissed against Timothy Mark Tennant, 45, of 214 9th St., Belmont.

Terry Wayne Tester, 55, of 1172 Dutch Creek Road, Banner Elk, pleaded guilty to two counts of intoxicated and disruptive behavior and two counts of possession/consumption of alcohol on unauthorized premises. He was sentenced to 240 days in jail with 13 days credit for time served, and 4 years supervised probation.

An order for arrest was issued for John Ford Williams, 60, of 229 Martin Lane, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked, three registration violations and operating a vehicle without insurance.

An order for arrest was issued for Bobby Ray Wilson Jr., 26, of 435 Presnell Road, Banner Elk, for failure to appear on a charge of obtaining property by false pretense. A secured $2,000 bond was set.

An order for arrest was issued for Joshua Howard Yates, 24, of 179 Parkway Village Drive, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of driving left of center and failing to report an accident.
