District Court Judge Kyle D. Austin presiding and Charlene Norris prosecuting on behalf of the state.

Andrew Brent Hodges, 21, of 238 Hickory Lane, Boone pleaded guilty to reckless driving to endanger. He was assessed a $25 fine and court costs. Charges of injury to personal property, reckless driving with wanton disregard and an inspection sticker violation were dismissed.

An order for arrest was issued for Michael Bruce Isaacs, 28, of 131 Hobert South Road, Zionville, for failure to appear on charges of speeding and driving while license revoked.


A charge of weapons on education property was dismissed against Tyler Andrew Jaynes, 18, of 513 Betsy Circle, Todd.

Bradley W. McIntyre, 48, of 1244 Piedmont Drive NW, Lenoir, pleaded guilty to impeding traffic by slow speed. A prayer for judgment continued was granted and he was assessed court costs. A charge of littering less than 15 pounds was dismissed.

Martha Narvarro, 33, of 117-B Martin Lane, Boone pleaded guilty to no operator’s license and an inspection sticker violation. A prayer for judgment continued was granted.

Kaylene E. Reece, 41, of 1154 Mabel School Road, Zionville, pleaded guilty to reckless driving to endanger. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A charge of failure to comply with licensing restrictions was dismissed.


A charge of failure to stop for a stopped school bus was dismissed against Robin Leslie Shows, 47, of 1301 Mountain Circle, Lenoir.

Deanie Lee Taylor Jr., 30, of 1928 Red Brush Road, Mountain City, Tenn., pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with no insurance, exceeding safe speed, a registration violation, and failure to reduce speed. He was assessed a $100 fine and court costs.

Steven Anthony Walters, 23, of the streets of Boone, pleaded guilty to attempted breaking and entering. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. He was assessed a $150 fine and court costs.


A charge of driving while license revoked was dismissed against Sheena Dawn Yates, 23, of 1390 Laurel Fork Road, Vilas.

An order for arrest was issued for Mark Gorin, 45, of 4696 Meat Camp Road, Todd, for failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked, a license plate violation and driving while license revoked. A $7,000 secured bond was set.

Kelly Colleen Ward, 29, of 115 Rogers Drive Apt. 1, Boone pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended with 40 days active and credit for time served, and one year supervised probation. She was assessed $520 in court appointed attorney fees.
