District Court Judge Thomas Foster Jr. presiding and Charlene Norris prosecuting on behalf of the state.
Zachary Paul Dixon, 20, of 231 Fletcher Creek Lane, Purlear, pleaded guilty to reckless driving to endanger. A prayer for judgment continued was granted.
Christopher Edwards, no age listed, of 53 Edgar Tufts Road, Banner Elk, pleaded guilty to reckless driving to endanger. A prayer for judgment continued was granted.
Kevin Sterling Holway, 20, of 710 Stinhurst St., Durham, pleaded guilty to driving after consuming alcohol while underage. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A speeding charge was dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Bobby Ray Wilson Jr., 26, of 435 Presnell Road, Banner Elk for failure to appear on charges of speeding, a registration violation, defrauding an innkeeper, driving while impaired, intoxicated and disruptive behavior, and driving while license revoked. A $2,000 cash bond was set.

A charge of felony possession of cocaine was dismissed against Lucas Antonoccio, 22, of 184 Raven's Ridge Circle Road, Boone.
A charge of simple assault was dismissed against Amy Michelle Ashley, 33, of 975 Jordan V. Cook Road, Boone, due to successful mediation.
Charges of possession of marijuana up to one half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and allowing the use of license or permit were dismissed against Isaac Joseph Banks, 18, of 9 Attmont Court, Durham, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.
A charge of assault and battery was dismissed against Michael Dewayne Brown, 23, of 139 Hensel Lane, Boone.
A charge of assault on a female was dismissed against Christopher Chisholm, 20, of 265 Westbrook Drive, Boone, due to successful mediation.
A charge of misdemeanor larceny was dismissed against Dwayne Franklin Cornett, 25, no address available, due to successful mediation.
Charges of harassing phone calls and communicating threats were dismissed against Shannon Marie Decker, 31, of 240 Meadowhill Drive Apt. 406, Boone.
A charge of assault on a female was dismissed against Timothy Albe Espinosa, 28, of 146 Edge Hill Road, Blowing Rock, due to successful mediation.
A charge of assault on a female was dismissed against Rodelfo Elias Garcia, 49, of 311 Ridgewood Drive Apt. 2, Boone, due to successful mediation.
A charge of a domestic violence protection order violation was dismissed against Edward Daniel Garvin, 51, of the Scottish Inn, Boone, due to successful mediation.
Two charges of harassing phone calls and a domestic violence protection order violation were dismissed against Daniel William Keller, 38, of Old Farm Road, Banner Elk, due to successful mediation.
Charges of violating a court order and misdemeanor stalking were dismissed against Elaine H. Oliver, 49, of 4146 N.C. 105 South Apt. 9, Boone.
William W. Rutledge, 33, of 162 Bailey Ave., Rock Hill, S.C., pleaded guilty to assault on a female. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail. Rutledge plans to appeal the case. The appeal bond was set at $10,000 cash.
Additional charges of assault on a female and misdemeanor larceny were dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Norma Jean Shook, no age listed, of 214 Devil's Den Road, Banner Elk, for failure to appear on a charge of violating a court order. A $300 cash bond was set.
A charge of simple assault was dismissed against Carlos Taylor, 42, of 479 Sampson Road, Boone.
An order for arrest was issued for Magalena Vivero, 27, of 352 Oscar St., Boone for failure to appear on charges of felony possession of cocaine and no operator's license. A $500 cash bond was set.
A charge of breaking and entering was dismissed against Daniel William Keller, 48, of 177 East Rocky Top Trail, Seven Devils.

District Court Judge Kyle D. Austin presiding and Charlene Norris prosecuting on behalf of the state.
Christopher W. Brock, 29, of 113 George Bowers Road, Elizabethton, Tenn., pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, two years unsupervised probation and assessed a $200 fine and court costs. A speeding charge was dismissed.
Nicholas Pace Getzen, 28, of 140 Monet Drive, Blowing Rock, was found guilty of driving while impaired.
He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation and 48 hours of community service. Getzen was assessed a $200 fine, court costs and community service fees. A prayer for judgment continued was granted on a driving while license revoked charge.
