Oct. 16
Simple physical assault was reported at 8:03 a.m. on Blowing Rock Road.

Larceny was reported at 10:32 a.m. at a business on Deerfield Road. A pulse oximeter was reported stolen.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 6:03 p.m. in a parking lot off of Howard Street.

Harrassing phone calls was reported at 10:43 p.m. at a residence on Zeb Street.

Burglary with forcible entry was reported at 5:11 p.m. at an apartment on Birch Street. A laptop computer and black case containing approximately 20 CDs were reported stolen.

Arrests: Humberto Gravo Hernandez, 31, of 337 Vanoy Lane, Boone, was arrested at 11 p.m. on a charge of simple assault.

Oct. 19
Larceny was reported at 1:40 p.m. at a business on King Street.

An ATV accident was reported at 2:42 p.m. on town of Boone property adjacent to Herndon Lane.

Shoplifting was reported at 5:56 p.m. at a business on Appalachian Street.

Arrests: Julia Lorrin Lovill, 19, of Allred Mill Road, Mt. Airy, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. for a charge of provisional license violation.

Oct. 20
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 7:48 a.m. on Tarheel Lane.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 1:39 p.m. on N.C. 105 Extension.

Larceny was reported at 3:19 p.m. on East King Street.

Damage to property was reported at 6:39 p.m. on West King Street.

Simple physical assault was reported at 9:56 p.m. on East King Street.

Arrests: Sean Patrick Griffin, 23, of 140 Faculty Street Apt. 9, Boone, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. on charges of attempting to flee/elude arrest, reckless driving to endanger, failure to burn headlights, speeding, failure to stop for a red light or sign and driving while impaired.

Oct. 21
Larceny was reported at 3:51 a.m. on Hardin Street.

Larceny was reported at 3:01 p.m. on Wood Circle.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 5:41 p.m. in a parking lot off Ivy Drive.

Larceny was reported at 9:41 p.m. on East King Street.

Oct. 22
Arrests: Rebecca Elizabeth Denny, 26, of 469 Corner Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was arrested at 4:04 a.m. on a charge of probation violation.

Oct. 23
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 6:35 p.m. from High School Drive.
