Jeffries earns honor
Former Appalachian State All-American defensive end Josh Jeffries was named the Arena Football League’s Ironman of the Week for his performance in the Los Angeles Avengers’ 64-42 victory over the Utah Blaze in the wild-card round of the 2007 AFL Playoffs late Monday night at the Staples Center. Margolis blast powers American
SHERRILLS FORD — Ben Margolis led the Watauga American League 11/12 year all-star team to a 5-3 victory over Sherrills Ford in the opening round of the 2007 Little League District 7 tournament Saturday at Sherrills Ford Optimist Field.
