Senior duo leads Pioneers into playoffs
Watauga’s Brianna Fleming and Sarah Blackwelder are about as different as two players could be. Fleming, the Pioneers’ No. 1 seeded tennis player, is laid back on the court. Though she is certainly competitive, she’s not going to be compared to John McEnroe any time soon. Blackwelder wears her passion on her sleeve and in her racket. She’ll smile when she wins a point, but she’s got a better chance of being compared to McEnroe than Fleming.
