Furman’s wrecking crew
Sooner or later, Furman slugger Case Cassedy was going to doom Appalachian State. Though he opened the Paladins’ series with Appalachian State with three hits on Saturday, Cassedy saved his best for last. Cassedy went 5-for-6 and hit for the cycle with two home runs in Furman’s 17-11 victory in the second game of a doubleheader played Sunday at Red Lackey Field.
