SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Freshman Yancy Moose has been named the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced by the SoCon office Monday afternoon. A left-handed pitcher from Hamptonville, N.C., Moose led the Appalachian State softball team to a 5-2 record last week.
