The perfect Christmas gift
Katie Schwebke of Bryson City, left, was among the hundreds of Mountaineer fans purchasing NCAA Division I-AA National Championship T-shirts and sweatshirts following the Mountaineer football team’s win over the University of Northern Iowa. Schwebke traveled to Chattanooga Tenn., last Friday to see what she called “the greatest game ever.” Schwebke, who graduated Dec. 10 with a sociology degree, and bookstore merchandise manager Lorraine Childers display two of the popular championship designs being sold.
