If you’re going to want one, this is the one to want. Not only is the newly formed the King of the Mountain Award riding on the Watauga/Avery game tonight in Newland and not only is it an old rivalry, but there’s a bad memory Watauga and its coach, Adrian Snow, want to erase from last year.

Turnovers hurt WHS
In their first game, Watauga fumbled the ball several times but was able to recover it each time. In Friday’s game against Hibriten, they were not as fortunate and felt the sting of a 17-14 loss.
