ASU’s win Taylor made

It’s true that Appalachian State has a bullpen. It just hasn’t been needed lately.  Taylor Craig became the third straight Appalachian starter to toss a complete game, even if rainy weather cut it short three innings. Still, Craig was in control of Charlotte in the Mountaineers’ 12-5 victory over the 49ers at Red Lackey Field.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — In a relay meet in South Carolina, Watauga’s girls’ track and field team placed seventh among 19 teams, but the boys’ team’s lack of depth contributed to a 17th place finish.
